Your Path to Cardiac Rehabilitation Excellence
RescueMD was founded by Dr. Olubukola Okoro. She began practicing medicine in 2012. She is board certified in internal medicine, lifestyle medicine and obesity medicine. After many years of hospital medicine, she craved a deeper more personalized connection with her patients and opened her practice in January 2020. As time went on, she grew RescueMD and was drawn to a lot of her cardiac patients who had no follow up after a major heart issue. When the topic came up again during a lifestyle medicine conference, she saw the writing on the wall. In January 2024, The Rehab by RescueMD was born.
After extensive research, The Rehab by RescueMD decided to partner up with Pritikins ICR program ( a world renowed medicare approved program) to deliver the best possible outcomes to our patients.
Our state of the art facility comes equipped with a fully functional exercise gym, a cooking station and a virtual education room. We tend to keep our class sizes small so as to deliver a personalized experience to all our patients.
